Atlantic Aquaculture International Conference – AAIC24
The Atlantic Aquaculture International Conference - AAIC24 is an effort of the EU funded H2020 project ASTRAL, to bring together PhD students, early career scientists and regional and world experts to exchange experiences, present new technologies, and discuss current and relevant topics in aquaculture.
The AAIC24 will be a presential event jointly organised with the 15th Aquaculture Conference of the Aquaculture Association of Southern Africa - AASA from September 9 to 13, 2024 at Stellenbosch University campus, Western Cape Province, South Africa.
In the AASA Aquaculture Conference 2024 edition, a joint conference with a national and international focus will be organised thanks to the cooperation of the AASA and the EU project ASTRAL (All Atlantic Ocean Sustainable, ProfiTable and Resilient AquacuLture), aiming to promote the exchange of knowledge and promotion of sustainable aquaculture in the North and South Atlantic.
The Conference program will focus on the classical Aquaculture topics like: Nutrition & Feed, Health & Disease, Breeding & Genetics, Water Ecology, Marketing & Finance, Production Systems, Aquaculture Policies etc. But new relevant topics will also be added to the program like: Sustainability, Biotechnology, Genomics, Aquaponics, New Technology & Innovation, Seaweeds, IMTA Systems, New Species, Socioeconomics and Research & Development.
